Order of KALA · last updated 12 July 2026
Order of KALA is an independent art project operated by Ujjwal Agarwal (an individual), Bengaluru, India. Nothing is sold on orderofkala.org itself. Its works — hand-plotted generative drawings, portraits and murals — are sold at KALA BAZAAR (bazaar.orderofkala.org), which is operated by the same person, from the same place, on the same till. These pages describe the terms of that exchange, plainly, and cover both addresses.
Terms & Conditions
The exchange
By placing an order at bazaar.orderofkala.org you agree to these terms. The site and its works are operated by Ujjwal Agarwal, an individual, from Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
What you are buying
A physical artwork on paper, drawn by a mechanical pen from the Order's own law. Each is unique: no two sheets are alike, and a drawing made for one buyer is not made again for another. Sheets held in stock are posted from hand; everything else — a second of the calendar, a portrait, a wall — is made to order, drawn after payment and then posted.
A portrait is drawn from a photograph you send after ordering; the Order writes to you for it. A wall (mural) is quoted by arrangement and is not sold through the cart. The clock is a waiting list only — no payment is taken for it.
Price
Prices are shown in Indian Rupees on each item and are the whole price of the work. Packing and postage within India are borne by the Order and are not charged. For delivery outside India, please write before ordering: postage is quoted separately and any customs duty at your border is yours to bear. The full total is shown before you pay.
Payment & fulfilment
Payments are collected via UPI and, where enabled, Razorpay (cards, wallets, net-banking). Once payment is received, your seed enters the plot queue and the note is drawn and dispatched. We may refuse or cancel an order where payment cannot be verified or an address is invalid.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India; any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka.

What we keep, and why
We collect only what is needed to make and deliver your order.
What we collect
- Your name, a contact (email / phone / handle), and postal address — used solely to fulfil and post your order and to send a tracking number.
- Order details (the seeds you chose, amounts, timestamps) — kept for fulfilment and accounting.
What we do not do
- We never see or store your card or bank details — payments are handled entirely by our payment provider (Razorpay / UPI).
- We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
Who we share with
Only as needed to complete your order: our payment provider (to process payment) and our courier partners — Delhivery and the postal service — to deliver it.
Your rights
Write to agarwal.ujjwal@gmail.com to access, correct, or delete the information we hold about you.
Refund, Cancellation & Shipping
Made by hand, to order
Cancellation
Because each work is drawn to order, you may cancel for a full refund any time before the pen starts — just email us. Once a sheet has entered the pen, it is a bespoke, one-off object and can no longer be cancelled. A second of the calendar can be cancelled and refunded in full before it is plotted; once plotted it is spent, and the pen will not draw that moment again for anyone.
Refunds & damage
If your work arrives damaged, or the wrong item is sent, email agarwal.ujjwal@gmail.com within 7 days of delivery with photographs. We will send a replacement or a full refund. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 5–7 business days.
Shipping
- Sheets held in stock are posted within 3 business days of payment.
- Works drawn to order are plotted and dispatched within 7–10 business days; a portrait takes two to three weeks from the day its photograph reaches us.
- Within India: posted via Delhivery / India Post. Postage and packing are borne by the Order and are not charged. A tracking number is sent to the contact you leave at the till.
- Outside India: please write before ordering — postage is quoted separately, and any customs duty or tax levied by the destination country is the buyer's responsibility.
- Works are posted flat in board, or in a tube where the sheet is too large to post flat.
